Late post but then again I can be too busy to update sometimes.
In this post I also taught a French newcomer to Singapore, some basic English.

Then we had some playtime (I’m proud of what I did for the doll’s hair lol) & some light food prepared by mummy before she went out. Ms A is a very shy but lovely girl who's eager to learn and I'm pretty sure that she'll be fluent in English very soon, like the others who were here before her. 😊

Her mother has been extremely sweet. Upon realizing I’m a Muslim, she kept apologizing about the pork that she openly kept in her fridge even though I expected it 😅. In my line of work, kind people are always a blessing to meet.

Some updated photos of Baby A that were taken on different days. 😇

======================

Getting ready to let him learn & listen to some Malay lessons on DVD, as requested by his parents. 📕

"Why is that phone facing me??"

Sock puppets for the win!

"'Cause... I'm Batman! Now, tickle me."

"Tell me I'm cute, auntie, or I'm gonna grip your fat arm again with my sharp nails!" 👶

Oh yes... he's getting VERY chubby too!
Introducing 1 year old boy, let's call him D & 3 year old girl, C! They are blessed with a beautiful house that came with a lovely personal yard to play in, and also a nearby park.

I didn't have the opportunity to meet them during the house visit with the parents on Sunday, cos they were still napping when we chatted. On Monday, I burst out laughing with surprise when they emerged out from their nap - The resemblances were too uncanny, the girl looks exactly like mommy, very pretty eyes, while the younger boy looks like a photocopy of their daddy! Too adorable liao..! 😍

D is the more reserved child among the two, and is being accompanied by granny cos he's still terribly shy with me. 😊

C too, was super terrified of the stranger, until I showed her photos of what I can do with Play Doh & then granny suggested that maybe she could take hers out to play with me. She brightened up immediately & later proceeded to take out other toys too!

I wish I had the chance to take more photos, but it was harder with two kids! Hahaha! While C required my attention, I had to ensure that baby boy D doesn't wander off too when poor granny needed to use the bathroom. He's an extremely energetic baby boy after all.

So after playing with numerous toys & teaching C to keep them together with me, we all proceeded to the house yard for fresh air instead of the nearby park because of the erratic hot/cloudy weather.

I promised C that I'll be bringing hand paint (stamps) on the next session, as she only has the paint but no brushes. R's mum (the German-US family) gave those stamps to me cos she didn't want to bring them to Berlin. I knew that they would come in handy someday! 👍

It's been a while since I last blogged. I've been busy with my nannying assignment, and life in general. 😇

This is baby A just recently.

Will you look at that chubby little hand! For a 4 to 5 months old baby, he has such a long attention span for story books. I can read up to 6 books and he'd still give me the "why did you stop" thoughtful look just when I thought that he was getting tired.

Baby TV programmes on cable & mobile videos are limited to just 10-15 minutes per view, as his parents understandably do not encourage screen time addiction so of course, I'll honour the requests & requirements of every parent as far as I can. Educational videos, however, sometimes can be a longer exception.

Diaper-changing time in his cot. Such a cutie. He's still pretty enthralled by his baby animals carousel actually, so I put him in there sometimes to calm him down, or go for a quick bathroom break! 🏃

Baby A is an extremely light sleeper, hence it can be pretty tough to get him to sleep during nap times. He also loves to look at the mirrors and smile at his own reflection 😎. He's getting more & more active. Squealing & babbling get more apparent too & he dislikes staying put in one place. So I gotta brace myself for more cranky periods when he already knows how to crawl & wants to explore the whole house, but I doubt that his parents would let that happen cos they live in a duplex & the winding staircase is a no-go for a little child. I guess a baby gate is in the cards to stop his access to the bedroom upstairs.

Beep me up from the Blogger contact form or the contact page if you require my services. 👍

So before he went away, I got R these as a parting gift (as promised)!

A new Play Doh Set!

See what we made. 😍

I gotta admit, I wasn't privileged enough to have Play Doh in those days but these look yummy.

The little boy who ran around in his shorts at home! Well he won't get to do that in Berlin now that's for sure. Look how happy he was! I miss him & our morning walks to the beautiful rooftop already!

I would like to thank Fabian & Amber for being so welcoming & generous with me when I was there. I hope that you have a well-deserved year abroad & wish all of you the best in whatever you do! 💜

Now... I would like to welcome baby A to my schedule! 😍

Syukur alhamdulillah. Thank you all once again for your trust in my services. This really means a lot to me.

It's late now but I will definitely post baby A's progress when I have more photos. 😚

Little R can read full sentences at 3 years old & so far able articulate his thoughts very well. He speaks English, German & a little Mandarin. I recall that my daughter couldn't speak properly till we sent her for phonics class at 4, and honestly I rarely see other toddlers who can fully read at this age too.

You will see what I mean here 😍.

Yesterday, my husband & I bought him tons of stickers & an educational sticker book!

The picture-matching sticker book that he loves. And it costs only $2 for the simple pleasures in a child's life.

The bedtime photos below were taken the night before. It was the first time I put him into bed after dinner.

As he only allows his parents to tuck him to sleep, what did you think I promised him with if he lets me do that? The stickers & new tubes of Play Doh, what else? Haha. His old stickers are used & the old doughs already too dried up anyway.

His favourite music box that also helped him sleep. Lol...

I am so going to miss seeing R when he goes to Berlin 😢. I will make sure that I buy him new Play Doh before he leaves!

A gorgeous litte boy. Let's just call him R. 💙 He has the bluest eyes I've ever seen.

He already knows how to tell the time on analogue, read/follow signboards & has a good sense of direction too! He brought me around his neighbourhood & lead me to the Cold Storage. He will definitely have a bright future ahead (and it helps that he inherited his brainy genes from his parents too) 😊 . I will be temporarily looking after him part-time till his family shifts to Germany for a year.

Done for the day! I took care of him for 2 days while his parents were busy. Little H is SO active, his batteries almost never run out! Isn't he a very handsome boy? 😍

Last week's ad hoc babysitting at Senja Road, Bukit Panjang for a few hours while his tired mommy takes a little break after work ☺️. This baby boy is so adorable & friendly! At first he looked on curiously as I wiped him, changed his clothes & played with him, but it only took him less than half an hour to warm up to me. After letting him take a baby ride on my lap & carrying him around for a bit, he fell asleep on my shoulder ❤️. Then I proceeded to wash the milk bottles, clean the sink, wash & hang the children laundry.

He has an older brother but he's pretty reserved with strangers, thus the brother stuck mostly with mommy.

Received this message after a trial meet. If the parents are happy, I'm happier. 😊
